I don't like being out of the loop in the blogging community. I am, I am currently way out of the loop. Stuff is happening I read glimpses of it and I don't know what people are talking about. Not only have I not being able to blog, I haven't been reading blogs either. I have over 100 posts to read in my Reader. I want to read them all, I want to comment on them all. I am going to try over the next couple of days. I just want to say sorry if I haven't come by in a while. If something big has happened to you please come and tell me. Fill me in, I need to be back in the loop.
I keep throwing around the idea of going to Blogher this year but I have been such a bad Blogger I don't feel like I should. Well that is one reason along with a few more. The real reason I do want to go is to meet my blogging friends. I would love to meet them all, and I will one day. I think they should bring Blogher to Sydney one year! Who is in ?
So yeah I will catch up, I may or may not comment till I catch up but at least I will be back in the loop.
Drop in and say hi.
I will leave you with some photos of Boo playing in puddles with his friends.

Two Words
Thank you.
All of you.
Yes you and you.
For being here for me, through another tough time in my life, the death of my beautiful mother.
Still grieving Max and then dealing with the death of my mum has been difficult, I probably haven't written about it as much as I have wanted to only because I can't express this grief and the feelings I have in words. So I stay silent. I don't like being silent on my blog. I need to write. I hope to write more in the new year.
I am also hoping for a better year next year. With good things happening around me, some changes, some travel and getting my business truly up and running.
I wish you and your families a very Happy New Year. Have fun and stay safe.
*********************************************
I have to share this photo I just found whilst looking through some old ones. Max took it.
He loved his stuffed animals, I have mentioned that before. If he went to bed before me, he would always tuck a couple these little guys in on my side of the bed to greet me before I went to sleep. They always put a smile on my face. It was a nice little memory to have.
All of you.

Where have I been ?
I have been neglecting my blog, my blogging friends, commenting, reading of late and I don't like it. I need my blog, I need my blog friends and I miss you all. I do.
I have been focusing on my business which has been really busy, I love capturing beautiful people. But I am still juggling it all. I write so many posts in my head by the time I have the time to blog, I no longer have the energy to write coherently. I am hoping this is just temporary, I have a few more booked out weekends before Christmas then I hope to have a break for a few weeks so I can fine tune things and also get time to blog when I want to.
I have lots to tell you and hope to fill you in, in the very near future. But in the meantime please come and tell me what you have been up to or say hi, because I miss you all.

This Is What happened Acrossed the Sea.
Wow! Just Wow! Does this girl rock!!??
Just like I wrote in your comment Eden
"Thank you for never allowing Alex to be forgotten, to share your story and his artwork across the world. He would be just blown away. You keep rock'n girl.
Thank you to all your readers and bloggers for your support. Much love to you all x
Alex was here."
And always will be.
I had gone to bed and thought I would check out twitter on my phone before I shut my eyes and there was Edens post. So I got up and checked it out properly on my computer. I had to, she stayed up till 5.30am to get it written for me. For me! And I cried. It was just wonderful to see her up on that podium and being so beautiful and funny as she is and watching all those images behind her and listening to her speak in front of ALL those people. I did wonder if the Americans understood what she was saying with her thick Aussie accent. But there were also tears in the house, so I imagine they did.
My heart is all big and puffy.
I love you Sisterman!
xx

WOW! Seriously WOW!
Wow, just WOW! No words can describe the last few days and all the support and comments around blogland. I have just been overwhelmed. There were posts of support written everywhere, like here and here and here and there and probably more that I am not even aware of......seriously it as blown me away.
My heart has been filled with so much love it was going to explode.
THANK YOU each and every one of you.
Especially the gorgeous Eden & Alexandra, two beautiful souls. I love that Eden allowed me to be part of her project. She probably would have been better off without Boo and I at the hospital, what Eden didn't tell you was that Boo decided to have alittle big hissy fit right when we started putting the canvases up on walls. Like we needed the attention. Thanks Boo! It will be a story I will certainly be telling him when he is older. For sure.
I have been riding high on all your words of comfort for the last couple of days but like I suspected would happen, today I have crashed. I am feeling so overwhelmed by everything. Boo is sick with a cold, was up most of the night very unsettled. I thought I had found our new home, only to realise it didn't really fit our needs ie no bathtub (Boo hates showers) no garden front gate (toddler on the loose), and a huge backyard with lawn, extra cost with a lawnmower or a service, not to mention the time to mow it. Damn it! The house itself was perfect. So on I hunt.
I have so many things I want/need to do but until I find a new home and get settled in it's not going to happen. Which is disheartening and disappointing. One day at a time.
There was something else I did on Wednesday to commemorate Alex. I was so blown away reading comments that I forgot to mention it, actually I had forgotten that I had even done it until I went to bed that night and put my head on the pillow and went ouch! What was that? Oh that's right I got my ear pierced today. Yep, I got a 3rd piecing in my left ear, for Alex. My ear piercings have always been special to me. I have four all up, 3 in one ear and 1 in the other, yes feeling a little unbalanced but I like that, because I am a Libran which is all about balance, so I like to break the rules. When I was 6 weeks old my mother with her own hands pierced my ears, obviously I didn't think much of it back then but when I was in my early teens I loved that she had done that. I already had mine pierced whilst other teenagers were begging their parents to have their ears pierced. But I love that she pierced them, my beautiful mum. My second single piercing I had done by a gyspy in Sicily, Italy, it represents my roots. Not the gypsy part but the Sicily part. And now my 3rd one is for Alex, done a year after his death. He will certainly never be forgoten.
And all of you have helped remember him and I hope you continue to.
Thanks again for all your love and support.

A Post About Nothing.
I have so much to write about but I have nothing. I am really frustrated that I just can't gather my thoughts and get them out. I don't know why, I don't know if it's because I am just too tired or its' because my brain just doesn't work any more and I can't express myself. I know time is a big factor the only real time I get in a big chunk is when Bubbaboo is down of a night by then I am pretty exhausted.
I don't like that time is passing and I am not getting things out. And when I do feel like writing it's about something that I can't really write about because I haven't written about what has happened prior so everything will be out of sync and just not make sense. I feel like I need to sit down for a couple of days and just get it all out to try and catch up. That is not likely to happen, now as a single mum to a one year old who loves to get into everything and demands attention constantly, my chances are pretty much nil.
So I will give you some photos, because I don't want you to leave with nothing. And thanks for listening.

She Said Lets Eat Cake!
So we did, in celebration of Friday Blog Roundup's 300th 200th post.
That is what I love about the ALI community. Where can you share cake with like minded people from around the globe, who support you through the good and the bad. I know I could not have got through the past few years without you all. I am typing with a very painful arm just so I can enjoy cake with you, that is how much you mean to me. I love reading posts where I nod my head and feel like I could have written the exact same thing, only you have written it a whole lot better than I could have. Even though my family making is over and my life has taken a completely different road, I still feel connected and I appreciate that the community that are still on the road are still around to support me.
Thank you and a huge thank you to Mel, who rounds us all up and brings this great community together. Bear hugs to all.
I must admit I didn't actually eat these but they were bright and fun to look at in the Donut shop window.
