Ta Daaah! (It looks a bit muddy because it is still bleeding a bit) |
And the most painful thing was having to listen to extra heavy metal being played full blast in the tattoo shop! No ok it did hurt a bit but it wasn't really that bad. It's actually hurting more now than when it was being done.
I think it's obvious what it represents.
What do you think?

Ooh. I like it. And very meaningful, too. Definitely not a faddish or temporary sentiment. Nice design.

I'll admit, I don't always like tattoos, but this one is gorgeous. : )
I love the symbolism and it is very pretty. Ouch for the Heavy Metal blasting! And Ouch for the tattoo! But Yay! For getting it done!
Good for you!! Thats amazing!
I love it.
that....my dear...is perfect in every single way. I love it and I love you for getting it. I hope it acts as a peaceful, comfortable reminder of your beautiful family....here and in the hereafter...I'm teary...it's just wonderful. *HUGS*
Very obvious what it represents and it doesn't matter whether anyone else knows, understands or cares - tatts are very personal things.
You're happy with it and that's all that matters.
xx
p.s. For the record, I think it looks fabulous!
wow, that is a perfect beautiful image to carry with you. I love that you followed your heart.
What does your little Buggaboo think about it? This is the most special thing and I am sure that he will be moved and reassured by its symbolism as he grows.
With love and my deepest respect.

wow, so gorgeous!
I think it's gorgeous AND I think you're one of the bravest people I know. In a dozen ways, least of all is the fact that you'd get a tattoo and photograph it.
absolutely gorgeous! love it. thanks for sharing.
Its perfect. Just perfect.
